New customers joining the igloohome integration will be offered a 30-day free trial before monthly payments for active locks begin.

Internal Process Flow

Confirmed bookings are sent to the platform -> the platform generates a unique URL and sends it back to Avantio -> the property manager can now insert the "Electronic Lock" block into any template they choose in Avantio.

Synchronization Process for Customers Not Yet Using Igloohome

First, a new Igloohome customer must register an account on our Igloohome app, available for Android and iOS. Then, they must pair their locks and link the Bridge and Keypads through the Igloohome app.

  1. Once you have your access details and an agreement with igloohome, request a connection with igloohome by creating a ticket to Avantio Support.

  2. The Avantio Support team will provide you with the credentials to open an automatic synchronization between Avantio and igloohome.

You will use these credentials in Step 4.

  1. Log in with your igloohome account access details https://www.igloocompany.co/iglooconnect

  1. Go to Configuration/Settings and set up payment with Stripe

  1. Select Avantio

  1. Log in. Use the username and password provided by Avantio support.

  1. Now link your Igloohome account.

  1. Select the device and assign your properties.

    Note: If you don't see your Avantio property, ensure the time zone in Avantio matches the time zone set on your Igloohome locks.

  1. After adding your lock, it will appear in the pending list for 15 minutes.

  1. After 15 minutes, the lock will appear in the Active List.
    From that moment, guests can make a booking for that property.

  1. Select the properties. Customize the PIN duration for each property. Set the check-in and check-out times and adjust the default duration if necessary.

  1. Monitor your dashboard from the "Home" tab. View your active PINs directly from the dashboard.

  1. From the "Bookings" tab, check upcoming bookings

  1. Unlock your property in real-time (requires Bridge).

  1. Cancelled bookings automatically revoke the PIN (requires Bridge).

  1. Back up your data like a pro.

  1. Set up automation in Avantio Harmony

  2. Create a new solution in Avantio Harmony.

  3. Select "Customers".

  4. Choose “Send instructions to guests”.

  5. Assign a name to the solution.

  6. Complete the trigger (Trigger). For example:
    “Booking changed to confirmed and paid status.”

  7. Define when to send the email with the PIN code.

  8. Select the “Confirmed booking” template

  1. This is what guests will receive in their email after their booking is confirmed.

This is a two-way synchronization; igloohome sends Avantio the access instructions and Avantio stores them in VRMS so the Property Manager can send this information through Harmony.

During the onboarding with igloohome, please make sure to specify the time when the reservation confirmation email is scheduled to be sent, so that igloohome can send the access data to Avantio before the email is sent to the traveler. This way, we ensure that the email does not lack access information at the time of its automatic sending by Harmony.

With igloohome, the reservation confirmation email must be sent at least 30 minutes after the reservation is confirmed.
