How the Process Works

Chekin is integrated with Avantio to enable a smooth flow of guest data that further enhances your operations. The process will be as follows:

  1. Automatically sync bookings and property information from Avantio to Chekin.

  2. Once the booking information is imported from Avantio, Chekin will automatically send an automated email with the registration link.

  3. Your guest will complete the online registration.

  4. The information will sync with Avantio.

How the Platform Works

For the PMS

The integration between Chekin and Avantio allows users to link their Avantio property management system (PMS) with Chekin. This connection facilitates the automatic import of property and booking data to Chekin, including details like check-in and check-out dates, guest information, and booking sources.

To activate the integration, users must create an account on Chekin and provide Avantio credentials, which can be obtained through Avantio support. Additionally, guest data can be synced back to Avantio, and electronic lock codes can be managed directly from the integration. To use Chekin's online check-in, the Avantio check-in module must be deactivated.

For the Customer

Chekin simplifies guest management for property managers. Users only need to create an account, set up their properties, and connect their Avantio PMS. The platform automates guest registration, including identity verification and legal compliance, and manages check-in and check-out processes.

Additionally, thanks to integration with Stripe, it allows secure payment processing. Chekin also offers features for managing virtual keys and communicating with guests, thus improving overall service efficiency.

Onboarding Process

Integration Process for Customers Who Have Not Previously Worked with Chekin.

  1. Create your Chekin account.

  2. Request a connection with Chekin by creating a ticket to Avantio Support.

  3. The Avantio Support team will provide you with the credentials.

  4. When Avantio Support provides your credentials, go to the Chekin registration page and enter your existing login details (NOT THE CREDENTIALS PROVIDED BY AVANTIO). At the bottom of the same page, click YES on "Do you want to connect your PMS?" and choose Avantio from the list.

  5. Enter the credentials provided by Avantio Support in the window that will appear after clicking Continue. Now a synchronization between Avantio and Chekin is established.

Integration process for customers who are already Chekin customers and wish to disconnect their old software (PMS) and connect with their new Avantio account.

  1. Create a new Chekin account and follow the standard procedure described above to open the synchronization between Chekin and Avantio.

  2. You will have the opportunity to download the necessary reports from Chekin before switching to a new account that will connect to Avantio.

If I have the Avantio Online Check-in module and want to work with Chekin, what should I do with the Avantio module?

Technically, it is not possible to run two Check-In processes at the same time. However, there is an easy way to switch from the Avantio Check-In module to Chekin.

The Avantio Online Check-in is a module. This means that it can be activated/deactivated at any time. You just need to make sure to deactivate the reminders from the Online Check-In module in Avantio. On the other hand, if you want to permanently deactivate the Avantio module, you can request it by contacting the Avantio Support team.
