Tourist taxes are part of your daily routine, and managing them accurately is key to avoiding errors and penalties. With the tax payment status tool, you can easily view, filter, and update information, keeping your relationship with local councils up to date.

What is the tax payment status?

This is a section where the taxes applied to each booking and their payment status are recorded. Here, you'll find all the information needed for complete tracking.

Data shown in the list

  • Booking ID

  • Accommodation name

  • Tax name

  • Tax payment status

  • Payment date

  • Amount to be paid

Additionally, if a booking has more than one associated tax, the system will also reflect this.

How to use the tool

Step by step

  1. Access the "Accounting" menu and go to "Taxes."

  2. Select "Tax payment status."

  3. Apply filters to locate the bookings you need (for example, by accommodation, date, or amount).

  4. Click on the information "i" on the right to see additional details about the booking and the applied tax.

  5. Select one or more bookings and, in the Actions menu, change the tax payment status when appropriate.

Useful tip

The payment status refers to the agency's payment to the corresponding entities, not the tourist's payment to the agency. This is an important distinction to avoid confusion.

  • Advanced filters: quickly search for specific taxes.

  • Export: generate a list of applied taxes in Excel or CSV format.

  • Direct access to the booking: by clicking on the booking ID, you open the record with all details, including taxes in the "Amounts" section, just below the extras.

Quick checklist

Before closing the month, make sure to:

  • Filter unpaid taxes.

  • Validate the status of those you have already paid.

  • Export the updated list.
