When managing accommodations, every detail matters. Making it easy for a guest to find the field to enter their email or to make a booking without unnecessary steps can be the difference between receiving an inquiry and losing it. The good news is that you decide what information to request and how to present it, flexibly and tailored to your needs.

What can you do with this form?

The contact and bookings form module allows you to customize what data the tourist must fill out when requesting information or making a booking. Additionally, you can define whether a field is mandatory or optional, ensuring nothing essential is missing and avoiding unnecessary information requests.

How to access

  1. Go to the WEB / Web Configuration menu.

  2. Access the VRMS Web Configuration module.

  3. Within this section, select Contact and Bookings Form.

Step by step: customize the fields

  1. Open the form editor.

  2. Review the list of available fields.

  3. Drag the fields from one column to another to define their position.

  4. Mark if each field will be mandatory or optional.

  5. Save the changes to apply them on your web.

Note that the fields for name, surname, and email are mandatory by default.

How is it displayed on the web?

The guest can access the forms in two ways:

  • When they decide to proceed with the booking.

  • When they click on the “Contact” button.

Best practices

  • Ask only for what's necessary: too many fields can deter travelers.

  • Ensure that mandatory fields are truly essential

  • Add clear notes if a field might cause confusion.

Quick checklist

  • Have I defined which fields are truly necessary?

  • Did I save the changes in the module?

Common mistakes

  • Making all fields mandatory: this can increase form abandonment.

  • Not testing the form after configuring it: always review how the tourist will see it

👉Useful tip: Now that you know how to configure your contact and bookings form, I recommend reviewing it from a guest's perspective. Test it as if you were the one booking: you'll spot small details that make a big difference in the traveler's experience.
