Compare bookings by owner and year
If you work with multiple owners, you've probably wondered: "How has each one performed over the past few years?" This report gives you a clear and visual answer. You can compare, year by year, the number of bookings received and the corresponding amounts by owner and accommodation. This way, you'll have a real snapshot of your portfolio's performance.
What is this report?
It's a module designed to generate comparative statistics of the bookings associated with each owner. With it, you can identify trends, analyze performance, and make informed decisions.
Main benefits
Visualize the evolution of bookings year after year.
Compare results by owner and by accommodation.
Identify which properties generate more income and which require attention.
Export data in Excel, CSV, or PDF to analyze in detail or share.
Configuration and available filters
Within the “Owner/Year Booking Comparison” menu, you can adjust the report according to what you need to consult:
Type of booking
Owner
Year or range of years
Reference date:
Booking date (to see when the booking was made)
Check-in date (to see when the stay was enjoyed)
👉 Pay attention to details: choosing between booking date or check-in date radically changes the focus of the analysis. Use the first to measure sales anticipation and the second to analyze actual occupancy.
Step by step to generate the report
Access the reports menu in your Avantio account.
Select “Owners – Owner/Year Booking Comparison”.
Apply the necessary filters (type of booking, owner, years, booking or check-in date).
Click on Export.
Download the file in your preferred format: Excel, CSV, or PDF.
Best practices
Use the booking date view to evaluate your business's advance sales capability.
Switch to the check-in date view to see actual occupancy.
Export data in Excel to create comparative charts and presentations for owners.
Review the report periodically: not just at the end of the year, but also mid-season.
Common mistakes
Confusing booking date with check-in date: make sure to choose the right filter for your analysis.
Not applying the owner filter: if you forget, the report will include all and it may be harder to draw individual conclusions.
Neglecting the export format: if you're going to analyze trends, Excel or CSV are more practical than PDF.
