If you work with the Single Rate connection from Booking.com in Channel PRO, it's important to know how to activate and deactivate your accommodations correctly. This will allow you to control which properties are synchronized and which are not.

Keep in mind that, as it is a limited connection, managing some aspects (such as additional rates or completely closing advertisements) must be done directly in the Booking.com extranet.

Activate an Accommodation

  1. Access Channel PRO and go to the "Accommodation Activation" section from the left side menu or from the Booking.com tab.

  2. Find the property you want to activate. You can sort the list alphabetically or by registration date.

  3. Click on the activation button (to the right of the property).

  4. The system will show you two options:

    • Associate with existing establishment:
Select this if the hotel ID is already added in Channel PRO. You can link multiple accommodations from the VRMS to that same ID.

      • Property: select the hotel ID.

      • Room: choose the existing room ID/name in Booking.com (e.g., ID+01, 02, 03).

      • Rates: select the existing rate in Booking.com. Remember that only one rate is synchronized from Avantio; the others must be created in the Booking.com extranet.

    • Link establishment from Booking.com:
Use this if the hotel already exists in Booking.com but is not yet linked in Avantio.

      • Property: enter the hotel ID in Booking.com. First, make sure you have added Avantio as a connectivity provider in the extranet.

      • Room: select the corresponding room ID.

      • Rates: choose the existing rate in Booking.com (only one is synchronized from Avantio).

  5. Click Accept to confirm the activation.

Deactivate an Accommodation

  1. Enter the "Accommodation Activation" section within Channel PRO.

  2. Find the property you want to deactivate.

  3. Click on the status button (to the right of the list).

👉 Important: when you deactivate a property in Channel PRO, synchronization stops, but the advertisement remains published and bookable on Booking.com. To close it completely, you must contact Booking.com and request the closure of the advertisement directly.

Useful Tips

  • Before activating a property, make sure you have added Avantio as a connectivity provider in Booking.com.

  • Check which rate you want to synchronize: only one can be sent from Avantio.

Best Practices

  • Keep a clear list of hotel and room IDs in Booking.com to avoid linking errors.

  • If you manage multiple accommodations, sort the list by date or name to find them quickly.

  • Always inform Booking.com when you need to completely close an advertisement.

Quick Checklist

☑ Add Avantio as a connectivity provider in Booking.com.
☑ Verify hotel ID, room, and rate before activating.
☑ Correctly associate or link as appropriate.
☑ Remember that only one rate is synchronized from Avantio.
☑ Contact Booking.com to close deactivated advertisements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I synchronize multiple rates from Avantio in Single Rate?
No. Only one rate is synchronized, the rest must be configured in the Booking.com extranet.

What happens if I deactivate an accommodation in Channel PRO?
Synchronization stops, but the advertisement remains active on Booking.com. You must close it directly in the extranet if you do not want to receive bookings.

Which option do I use to activate a new accommodation?
It depends: if the hotel already exists in Channel PRO, use "Associate with existing establishment." If it only exists in Booking.com, use "Link establishment from Booking.com."

Can I reactivate an accommodation after deactivating it?
Yes. You just need to return to the activation section in Channel PRO and press the status button to reactivate it.
