Connect your properties with Holidu and activate automatic payments

Keeping your properties visible, updated, and with confirmed bookings effortlessly is possible. With the connection between Avantio and Holidu, you automatically sync rates, calendars, and bookings. Additionally, you can activate Holidu Payments (HoPa) for faster and more secure guest payments.


What syncs with Holidu

The connection between Avantio and Holidu is done via API, ensuring real-time synchronization of:

  • Rates and availability

  • Photos, titles, and descriptions

  • Amenities and extras (referred to as "features" in Avantio)

  • Minimum stay, check-in/check-out days, and cancellation policies

  • Discounts and surcharges (per stay, per occupant, last minute, etc.)

  • Bookings and cancellations (depending on the chosen payment method)


Requirements before connecting

To activate the connection, you need to:

  • Have at least 10 properties located in Europe

  • Have at least 10 photos per property (JPG, PNG, GIF, or BMP, 1,300 × 900 px minimum, 120 KB – 11 MB)

  • Sign an agreement with Holidu. Without this step, the connection will not be activated

  • Ensure your base currency in Avantio is EUR (you can use others with prior conversion)


Step by step: how to connect your properties

  1. Sign up on the Holidu Partner Portal and complete your account details.

  2. Activate your properties from Avantio to send them to Holidu via API.

  3. Holidu will make a test booking to verify that the connection works correctly.

  4. Once the process is validated, you will be online in less than 5 days.


Payment options: Holidu Payments vs Partner Payments

🔑 Holidu Payments (HoPa) – Recommended

  • Holidu manages the payment and covers card costs in case of cancellation.

  • Fast and secure payments, aligned with your cancellation policy.

  • Less work: Holidu handles modifications and cancellations until check-in.

  • Average reduction in cancellations: 12% less in connected accounts.

  • You receive the amount (minus commissions) on the day of check-in.

💼 Partner Payments

  • You manage the payment and send the payment confirmation to the guest.

  • You must manually register cancellations in Avantio.

  • Holidu invoices its commission (15%) the month after check-in.

💡 Useful tip: if you want to save time and reduce risks, activate HoPa. It is the preferred option for most property managers.


Attention to details

  • Currency: Holidu only accepts prices in EUR.

  • Length of stay: accepts bookings from 1 to 365 nights.

  • Cancellations: if you use HoPa, cancellations sync automatically. If not, you must register them yourself in Avantio.

  • Extras and surcharges: compatible as long as they are expressed as a fixed amount.


Best practices

  • Check the quality of your photos: the platform recommends clear and varied images to improve performance.

  • Include key information in your descriptions (location, featured services, nearby attractions).

  • Correctly configure check-in and check-out, minimum stay, and cancellation policies to avoid unwanted bookings.
