Activate the Marriott portal in Channel PRO

Before activating your accommodations, you need to connect the portal:

Step by step

  1. Access Channel PRO from the top of your screen in the VRMS.

  2. Click on "Portal Activation."

  3. Find Marriott – Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy and select "Connect."

  4. Review all the information about the process (compatibilities, minimum requirements, agreement with Marriott).

  1. Set up the general parameters:

    • HMCID: Unique ID provided by Marriott during training.

    • Price Increase: percentage added to your base rate in the VRMS.

    • Applied VAT: define the tax percentage.

    • Release: days between the booking and the check-in date.

    • Booking Configuration: choose between instant bookings, information requests, or both.

    • Cancellation Policy: select one of the available options from Marriott.

  2. Confirm to complete the connection.

👉 Helpful Tip: you can modify these settings later, both from the portal activation screen and for each individual property.

Activate your accommodations on Marriott

Once the portal is activated, you can publish your properties:

  1. Go to the Accommodation Activation tab.

  2. Locate your property (you can filter by name, reference, status, type, or city).

  3. Click on the activation button that appears on the right.

  1. Enter the accommodation name that will be displayed on Marriott:

    • It must be between 8 and 255 characters.

    • It must be unique on Marriott (cannot be repeated on other portals).

  2. Click "Accept." The button will turn green, and the property will be activated.

After activation, you can customize default parameters such as:

  • Visible name on the portal.

  • Price Increase.

  • Release.

  • Booking Configuration.

  • Cancellation Policies.

⚠️ Attention to details:
During the onboarding with Marriott, you agree with the portal on which properties will be published. Therefore, you should only activate in Channel PRO those previously confirmed. If you activate properties that are not approved, they will not be published.

Deactivate accommodations

If needed, you can deactivate properties at any time by changing the status to disconnected.
