Get to know the new secure domain and the new protection layer for your system
Avantio has added a new protection layer for the VRMS with a WAF (Web Application Firewall). This system analyzes the traffic reaching the application, blocks attack attempts, and strengthens the security of your data and your logins.
As part of this update, from December 9 onwards, access to your Avantio system (VRMS) will no longer be made from app.avantio.com and will only be available through the new secure domain app.avantio.pro.
How to access the VRMS from the new domain
Open your usual browser.
Type "app.avantio.pro" in the address bar.
Check that "app.avantio.pro" appears in the address bar before entering your credentials.
Log in with your usual username and password.
Important
The application and your credentials remain the same; only the address you use to access it has changed.
Best practices
To avoid errors when entering the VRMS, consider these actions:
Replace bookmarks or favorites with "app.avantio.com" with "app.avantio.pro".
Recreate shortcuts and entries in your password manager using the new URL.
What to do if the VRMS page does not load
If you are unable to access the system, try the following options:
Type "app.avantio.pro" in a new tab, without using bookmarks or saved links.
Access from another browser or in incognito mode to rule out issues with cache or extensions.
Check with a specialist to confirm that the "app.avantio.pro" domain is allowed in your organization’s firewall or content filters.
If after these tests you still cannot access, contact the Avantio support team and include screenshots of the error and of the address bar so they can help you more quickly.
Helpful tip
If you use shared computers, try not to save your password in the browser, always log out when you finish, and carefully review any verification email before clicking, to make sure that you are the one who started the login attempt.
If you think your VRMS login issue is related to your password, two-factor authentication (2FA), or an authentication code, check this article. There you will find the full procedure to recover access to your VRMS account.

Why has the access domain to the VRMS changed from "app.avantio.com" to "app.avantio.pro"?
The change is part of the implementation of a WAF, an additional security layer that filters traffic and helps block attacks against the system. To integrate this technology without affecting other services, access to the VRMS is now made from the new secure domain "app.avantio.pro".
Are my username and password still valid after the change to "app.avantio.pro"?
Are my username and password still valid after the change to "app.avantio.pro"?
Yes. The change affects only the access address for the VRMS. Your username and password remain the same; only the URL from which you log in has changed.
What should I do if I go to "app.avantio.com" and the VRMS does not open or I am not redirected to "app.avantio.pro"?
What should I do if I go to "app.avantio.com" and the VRMS does not open or I am not redirected to "app.avantio.pro"?
Try typing "app.avantio.pro" in your browser’s address bar. If you can access normally this way, update your bookmarks and shortcuts to always use the new domain. If even when typing the new URL you still cannot access, follow the basic checks described in this article and contact the Avantio support team if the issue persists.
Where can I find help if the problem is my password or the verification code, and not the page or the domain?
